Main Rest Camps in Kruger National Park

When we are traveling in Kruger Park on Day tours and our Overnight safaris we stay over in the rest camps or if you as client want a bit more rustic adventure you can try the Permanent Safari Tented camps in the Park like Tamboti Tented Camp.

Mostly we tarvel in the Southern to Central Regions in the park on the 2 to 4 day trips.
This can include camps like Skukuza, Satara, Tamboti, Orpen, Lethaba, Olifants, Lower Sabie, Pretoruiskop, Berg en dal & Crocodile Bridge.

The 5 to 7 day overnight tour options can include camps like Mopani, Shingwedzi and Punda on request.

All rest camps have swimming pools, shops and restaurants. Skukuza main camp have a FNB (First National Bank) WIFI at the restaurant and a post office if needed.

Camps are safe because of the electric fence surrounding the perimeter of the camp. In the evenings a walk around the camp with a flashlight gives you the change to view some nocturnal animals through the fence like Hyena and Genet or even some owls species can be found.

The sounds of the bush at night is something to experience like the roar of a Lion, or the woo of a Hyena or Jackal howling to the moon is amazing to hear. Fruit bats and many other species fly around at night an you can hear their echo-location peeping sounds.

Bird live in all the camps are in abundance and is a paradise for birders as you can spend some time in the middle of day when not on safari to view our many feathered friends.
