Private Wildlife Photographic Safari

Private full-day photographic safaris are available from Hazyview Town and Skukuza Camp, with pick-up from your accommodation. You can enjoy a private wildlife photographic safari in an open safari vehicle with a professional and experienced nature site guide. The vehicle will be privately booked for you and your fellow photographers, ensuring no strangers are on board. Bernhard Bekker or Hennie Bekker will be your guide for the day.

 

The cost for hiring the open safari vehicle and guide per day is R6880. This rate is valid for 1 to 4 guests, including up to 4 photographers.

 

The safari will run from the park gates opening until sunset. In summer, this will be from 4:40 a.m. to 18:30 p.m. In winter, the safari will run from 05:15 a.m. to 17:30 p.m. Non-photographers are also welcome to join in on the experience.

Entrance fees into Kruger National Park are EXCLUDED from the price.

INFORMATION:

Embark on a photographic expedition through Africa's wildlife, led by two seasoned guides, for an entire day. This guided tour provides one-on-one attention and useful counsel to enhance your photographic abilities. You can commence your exploration from Hazyview town at any lodge, Skukuza Camp or from any lodge near the Paul Kruger Gate area. 

 

Our professional team supplies an exclusive vehicle and equipment for the day, including Gimpro Gimbals mounted on both sides of the open safari vehicle and beanbags for swift shooting. This ensures you get optimal photographic opportunities, irrespective of the subject's location.

 

Moreover, our safari vehicle is outfitted with 220-volt inverters to facilitate phone or camera battery charging while in the African bush. It's worth noting that the car has USB two and three-prong South African plugs, so you must bring your international charger fittings only when necessary.


You hire the vehicle with a maximum of two or four participants photographers or non-photographers the rate states the same. Photographic Tours operates daily throughout the year this is a fully guided tour with tips and tricks on how to take better wildlife photographs with an experienced wildlife photography guide by your side. A zoom or fixed lens will come in very handy so 300mm to 600mm will make your experience worth the while.

*Lens hire is available but booking must be made well in advance to ensure availability of equipment. 
*Equipment hired must be arranged no less than two weeks before departure and is for your own account.
*Multi-day overnight safaris can also be done on request (Contact us directly).

PLEASE NOTE: 
Lens hire can be done with African Photographic Safaris contact them directly to get more information.
We will collect and deliver all equipment you hire at a small fee of R1680 in total.

A 100% deposit is required for this reservation in order to confirm your booking.

All-day safari sales are final and non-refundable.
