3 Day Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival at Skukuza Airport
For optimal enjoyment during this 2-day excursion, we recommend booking the earliest available flight.
Upon arrival at the airport, we can immediately embark on a game drive as the Airport is conveniently located right outside Skukuza camp this gives us time to explore the river in the hotter part of the day where big herds of elephants gather to drink. Check-in at the Skukuza Safari Lodge can be done around 14:00 take a break and settle in before we depart for the afternoon drive.
The standard room provided includes air-conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and a breakfast pack for the following day's early morning departure when the gates open.

After settling in, the game drive can continue until the gate closes, which is normally between 17:30 and 18:30 depending on the season.
For dinner, you can dine at any of the two restaurants in Skukuza camp, (own expense.)
Day 2 - Full-day safari with a break mid-day
Our safari day commences either at 04:30 or 6:00 in the morning, depending on the season. Our goal is to exit the camp before the gates open and head out into the African bush on an open safari vehicle. Our hope is to catch sight of some big cats early in the morning, as this is the optimal time to observe them before they withdraw to the shade for the remainder of the day.
In the morning, we will explore recent areas that have been worth exploring for game viewing and endeavour to spot the animals that you are most interested in, such as the Big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, cape buffalo, and leopard), as well as plains game like giraffes, impala, zebra, wildebeest, and many others. We will also not neglect the bird and reptile life in Kruger National Park.
During our expedition, we will pause for breakfast at a different camp or picnic spot and take a breather before continuing our exploration. We will return to camp for lunch, providing you with ample time to unwind and recharge before we embark on an afternoon game drive until the gates close.
For dinner, you can opt to visit a restaurant at your own expense.
Day 3 - Early morning game drive and depart
To fully maximize your trip, it's worth considering booking the latest flight out of Skukuza Airport. This will allow us to have more time to explore the area that day.
Our early morning pick-up will start around 04:30 or 06:00, depending on the time of year. This is the last time to spot the big cats and other wildlife, like elephants, giraffes, hippos, cape buffalo, Crocodiles, different antelope species and many, many bird species. The guide will choose the game viewing area based on recent sightings and their expertise we also have radio contact with other guides operating in the area.

We will take a break in the bush for some tea and coffee during our journey. After the break, we will leisurely head back to the camp for breakfast. You will need to check out at 10:00 AM, and we will load your luggage onto the vehicle for the game drive.
Following breakfast, we will embark on another game drive until it's time for your airport drop-off.
