REFUNDS/CANCELLATION POLICY

Should you for any reason wish to cancel your booking you will be liable for the following cancellation fees:

Escorted Tours: For standard tours only (Private/Custom tours see below) Any cancellation prior to 121+ days of the tour will be refunded all money paid less a $50 handling fee per person plus any banking fees paid (PAYPAL / RSA Banks)
Any cancellation between 45 and 65 days before the tour will forfeit their deposit. (Normally 50% of the full rate) Any cancellations less than 30 days before the tour will forfeit the full price of the tour. We do not make exceptions to the cancellation policy for any reason, including weather, wildfire, terrorism, civil unrest, epidemic, pandemic or personal emergencies. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. We must adhere to our cancellation policy to protect our ability to run tours and to maintain our price structures. Please don't ask us to make exceptions. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment and researching plans that cover pre-existing conditions and/or have a “Cancel for any reason” clause.

• • 120-46 days prior to arrival - 50% cancellation fees (Forfeit Deposit)

• • 30-0 days prior to arrival - 100% cancellation fees
   

• Day Tours

• •   5 to 0 days prior to arrival - 100% cancellation fees

• • 14 to 6 days prior to arrival - 50% cancellation fees

• Transfers

• • 100% cancellation fee if cancelled within 48hrs of travel
   

All refunds for day tours (if granted) will incur a 7% ZAR handling charge if cancelled for ANY reason whatsoever.

 

USE OF SITE

You may only use this site to browse the content, make legitimate purchases, and shall not use this site for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent purchase. • 2. change these Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part of) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions, then you must immediately stop using the Website.

• 3. We will use our reasonable endeavours to maintain the Website. The Website is subject to change from time to time. You will not be eligible for any compensation because you cannot use any part of the Website or because of a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or part of the Website due to circumstances beyond our control.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

To secure a safari, an email confirmation and deposit are required from the agent, operator, or client. Bookings made 6-12 months prior to arrival, require a 50% deposit to confirm, and the balance payable 65 days prior to arrival. Bookings made less than 6 months prior to arrival, require a 50% deposit within a week of making the booking and the balance 65 days weeks prior to arrival. Bookings made within 65 days of arrival require full payment within 24hrs of confirmation.

 

CHILD POLICY

We do not take children under the age of 3 years on an open vehicle with other guests, but they are very welcome if the vehicle is booked on a private basis. We reserve the right to request proof of age, please do not be offended Children under the age of 12 are not allowed on SANParks game drives and children under the age of 12 are not allowed on their bush walks.

 

INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS

Inclusions and exclusions will be advised at the time of quoting and vary between itineraries.

 

VISAS

All visa requirements are the clients’ responsibility. If travelling with children, please make sure you have all the correct documentation before you get to your departure airport.

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all travellers have adequate travel insurance before travelling

 

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

The Kruger National Park is classed as a malaria area and it is recommended that preventative medicine be taken. There are currently no vaccinations required for South Africa but it is always best to check with your doctor or health centre Please also make sure you are familiar with the ever-changing COVID-19 REGULATIONS in SOUTH AFRICA before travelling. Please inform us if you have any medical conditions that we should be aware of, such as diabetes or asthma, if you are on any medication and if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements.

I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in any way and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Private Kruger Safaris t/a PK Safaris (PTY) LTD for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
